A thought on negative comments or grievances (because you are angry right now):
Whilst I totally agree that it is up to the product seller and operator to deliver what they say – lets face it, issues will arise. It’s a boat. Expectations differ. You might be disgruntled because of many other things – the “boat issue” was only the last straw.
As the owner of two previous companies, I always preferred to be able to deal with any issues face to face and rectify it in person before the client left the base, offer compensation if required and ensure the guest or owner went home satisfied.
But these days words often get to the internet before time is allowed to deal with and contain the discontent. Further more, once the issue was fixed, very rarely would one find positive comments on the internet as a follow-up!
So, my summary would be that as long as you allow the operator time to rectify and respond in private to your issues before blogging…. Post away!
The true measure of the company quality is how it deals with issues.
There is this thing about privacy and what happens with your data once you post things on this website (or any website).
Honestly, I have no idea and cannot guarantee what happens to your data. They told us it was secure before and still, data ended up in places you would have never thought it could. If you post in this site, only post what you want to share with the universe. If you have things to hide about yourself or the boat you own or what you do in your spare time…. don’t post!
Personally, I will not, knowingly, forward or sell any of your data (like your name and email address) to anyone and your contact details will not be shown after I publish your post.
